Our special boy did it again! He won championships both days. The judges on Sunday were so impressed with his fino boards that they asked for three boards to enjoy his mechanics
and power. El Eterno happily obliged and then did a fourth board sporting his Blue Championship Ribbons.
Scheherazade
This was this fino mare's first show. This mare was bred here at Criadero Cuatro Rios and her ability was recognized at an early age. We have brought her along slowly
and this weekend was a new adventure for her. Scheherazade won all four of her classes
and you can see her gait and outstanding hocks on her video.
Altanero
Altanero. last year's National Champion 4 year old Performance Colt, is now at age 5 a Stallion. He won Championships at this show and we continue to look for great things from him.
Valeroso
This 4 year old Performance Stallion was in his first show this weekend. His potential was obvious and Valeroso also found himself a new home! He was sold to the same lovely home, Jim and Suzanne Cantrell, where Caporal now resides. And, by the way, caporal had an outstanding show and continued his winning ways, garnering four Pleasure Stallion Championships with his new owner.
Tennessee Valley PFHA put on a wonderful show and the competition was excellent. It is fun to be back in the show ring after the long winter break.
2009 show season is here!

Spring is here and with it the new show season. Criadero Cuatro Ríos will begin the 2009 show season in Memphis, Tennessee. We will be participating in the "Paso Finos in Memphis" show on April 24-26. The horses you will be able to see at this show are: El Eterno, Altanero, Valeroso (his first show, 4 year old performance colt), Scheherazade (her first show, fino mare) and La Gaitana.
